How many funds can I open?

As many as you like. There's no limit on how many funds you can open.

Every fund gets its own card. On the First Year page, Active Funds lists them all with their goals and progress, and Total Contributions adds them up. Under Add More Funds, the funds you've made are marked Already created. The ready-made ones you haven't used yet are still there, and More fund types shows the rest.

Online gifts aren't open yet, so guests see one line, Cash funds, with an Opening soon label on your public registry. Your funds are saved and ready for when gifts open.
